The CygNet Dynagraph Viewer provides many features to help monitor rod-pump well performance. The application's function is to display dynagraph cards for the available Pump-Off Control (POC) facilities in your CygNet system. The full range of the viewer's features is available once the supported devices are properly configured in the Device Definition Service (DDS).
The CygNet Dynagraph Viewer’s primary function is the display of dynagraph cards, showing load versus position plots. Stroke information that can be gauged from these plots includes stroke length and net stroke, minimum and maximum load, and the relationship of one stroke curve to another using the card overlay feature. The Viewer also displays well status, pump-up and shutdown cards, configurable setpoints, and acts as an interface to devices through direct UIS command execution and DDS data group viewing.
The CygNet Dynagraph Viewer displays cards from Pump-Off Control (POC) facilities that support the necessary data groups, as dynagraph card display is dependent on downhole calculation. Downhole calculation requires well specification and proper configuration in the DDS via the Downhole Configuration data group.
The powerful features of the Dynagraph Viewer can be used to remotely monitor and control surface and downhole stroke position and load, configure pump-off conditions, and analyze status data, thereby increasing production and reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
