Each statistic fills in after the task completes.
Below are the results of thinning between CSD Compression and Deadband Compression. The deviation was calculated as 15% of the standard deviation. Notice that in the middle graph (CSD Compression), the linear slopes have far fewer points than either the original or Deadband Compression. The Deadband Compression reduced the entries by 66% and the CSD Compression reduced the entries by 82%.
The results below iterate the deviation from 0.5 to 2.5 step 0.75 using CSD Compression. Notice that as the deviation increases, there are less points on the slope although the overall graph does not change. The deviation of 1.0 reduced the number of entries by 57% whereas the deviation of 2.5 reduced the entries by 81% without significantly affecting the patterns in the graph.
