CxEventIF

The CxEventIF control is an automation object which provides a way for scripts to set up and execute filtering queries. The filtering queries can be used for events, activities, and conditions, as well as for point and value information.

Example

A script can set up and execute queries to be applied to a shift report.

The main filter/query areas of the CxEventIF are as follows:

Alarms in CAS, filtered by CAS attributes
Events, including Audit events, in ELS, ELSALM, and AUD, filtered by event attributes
History values, for a specific time in VHS
Point information, filtered by FAC attributes (such as UDC) and PNT attributes (such as facility type and configurable attribute)
Current value in CVS

There are five query objects available, allowing interfaces with a large number of services.

CxEventIF contains the following objects:

Note: Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of this library are available; library files are located in your CygNet source files at CygNet\Support\CxEventIF.dll and CygNet\Support64\CxEventIF64.dll respectively.
