The Micro1c EIE is a Modbus-based EIE that includes support for history and FMS data.

eieType eieType identifies the CygNet EIE type associated with a template (in the deviceDefinition element); it links a device driver with a template. It typically refers to the name of the protocol according to which an EIE conforms. A value includes a CygNet-defined string, up to 20 characters, alphabetical characters only, and no spaces. The default value is supplied in the template and is not typically changed.	Micro1c

FMS Support	Yes, using FMS EFM data items. Note: In cases where both GMR and FMS support was previously available, CygNet Measurement now provides data support using FMS data items only. If you were previously using GMR data items, you must update to use FMS data items. Update options are provided as part of your software upgrade procedure.
