CygNet Alarm Manager Screens Overview

The sample files used by CygNet Studio are located in SITENAME.BSS\M_CAM\. The screens are intended to work together and all files should remain in the same folder location.

CygNet Studio Screens

The following table provides a list of all the sample CygNet Studio screen files provided in the CAM package. Note that these screens are based upon a single CygNet site. Modifications would be required in order to use these screens in a multi-site configuration.

Filename Description

CAM - Job Chooser.csf

A screen used to select which jobs to schedule. See Configuring a CygNet Alarm Manager Schedule for more information.

CAM - Job Scheduler.csf

A screen used to define and schedule CAM jobs. See Configuring a CygNet Alarm Manager Schedule for more information.

CAM Admin.csf

A composite screen used to manage job scheduling, module configuration, and hourly ELSALM records. See the following topics for more information:

CAM.csf

The main start screen for CAM. See CygNet Alarm Manager Main Screen for more information.

CamModuleConfiguration.csf

A screen used to configure necessary CAM module settings. See Configuring the CAM Module for more information.

COMMENT.csf

A screen used to collect operator comments on why alarm parameters were changed on the Point Transition Detail Screen.

CRM Ad-Hoc Query.csf

A main screen used to display each of the Alarm Query Ad-Hoc Screens.

CRM AQ - 10 Min Distribution.csf

An ad-hoc screen showing a bar chart of the calculated KPIs for the time specified - 10-minute alarm distribution. See the following topics for more information:

CRM AQ - Alarm Flood.csf

An ad-hoc screen used to display the periods within the specified date range where there were more than a configured number of annunciated alarms. See Alarm Flood Report for more information.

CRM AQ - Alarms.csf

An ad-hoc screen showing a full alarm query.

CRM AQ - Avg per DoW.csf

An ad-hoc screen used to display alarm statistics about specific days of the week during the configured date range. See Average Alarms per Day of Week Report for more information.

CRM AQ - Avg per HOD.csf

An ad-hoc screen used to display alarm statistics about specific hours of the day during the configured date range. See Average Alarms per Hour of Day Report for more information.

CRM AQ - Chatter.csf

An ad-hoc screen used to display points that go into and out of alarm within a specified amount of time. See Chatter/Fleeting Alarms Report for more information.

CRM AQ - Config Distribution.csf

An ad-hoc screen showing the number of points that are configured with Alarm Priorities of either Critical or High categories. See the following topics for more information:

CRM AQ - Hourly Distribution.csf

An ad-hoc screen showing a bar chart of the calculated KPIs for the time specified - hourly alarm distribution. See the following topics for more information:

CRM AQ - Inhibited Query.csf

An ad-hoc screen used to display those points whose alarms were inhibited or suppressed in the date range specified. See the following topics for more information:

An ad-hoc screen showing the points that have not been updated in the user specified number of minutes. See the following topics for more information:

An ad-hoc screen used to display values from alarm records that have been in alarm for a specified amount of time. See the following topics for more information:

An ad-hoc screen showing the top points that have most alarms for the date range specified. See the following topics for more information:

CRM Controller Query.csf

A screen used to display the alarm acknowledgments based on who performed the acknowledgment. See Alarms by Controller Screen for more information.

 

CRM Dashboard.csf

A nested screen (to CAM.csf) that provides a launch point into the alarm analysis process and aids in visualizing alarm activity. See CygNet Alarm Manager Dashboard Screen for more information.

CRM Points List Mgmt.csf

A screen used to show all points for a selected facility. See Manage by Points View Screen for more information.

CRM Priority Mgmt.csf

A screen used to show alarms for the selected priority for the date range specified. See Manage by Priority View Screen for more information.

CRM Reports.csf

A screen used to show a list of all the reports generated by the KPI engine. The list displays the report location specified in the CAM Module Configuration. See Stored Reports Screen for more information.

CRM Shift Report.csf

A screen used to display events and audit records of interest for the selected start time and end time. See Shift Report Screen for more information.

Hourly Histogram.csf

A screen showing hourly ELSALM records.

KPI Detail Count.csf

A screen similar to the KPI Detail screen, which uses CygNet CAS View Control. The KPI Detail Count screen is based upon the current state of alarms rather than a historical view. See KPI Detail Count Screen for more information.

KPI Detail.csf

A screen showing a trend of the KPI value for the selected section as well as a listing of the alarms for the time frame selected. See KPI Detail Screen for more information.

Point Transition Detail.csf

A screen showing more detailed logging information regarding a particular point. See Point Transition Detail Screen for more information.

Suppressed Alarms.csf

A screen showing a list of suppressed alarms. See Audit History Report for more information.
